If you haven't seen the Acorn tapes, I would take the time to watch them. Go to BigGovernment.com

I'm still trying to understand these Acorn workers.  I guess there is a whole other world out there and it frightens me to know that it exists.

What would you do if a couple comes in posing as a pimp and a prostitute, and they ask you how to go about getting help with a loan so that they can operate a whore house staffed with 13 El Salvadorean girls who are under the age of 15?  The pimp wants to use the money to fund his future political career.

Instead of being flabberghasted and stunned by such a thought, they really don't flinch at all and begin to brain storm on how best to go about executing such a venture.

I guess it scares me because it shows me that there are people out there who are willing to help with just about anything.  They don't seem to be bad or evil people.  But how can something so perverse not phase them at all?  Are things like this common place to them?

Jon Stewart did a nice bit on the story which is a good summary if you don't want to watch all of the video.

The whole thhing is so surreal, but it does  not surprise me at all. I used to work in Social Services in New york, and we dealt with immigrants and the level of what you see was incredible. If I would start telling the fcts, you would laugh at me. As you might have laughed at anyone, who  would tell you the story wiith the coupel pretending to be willing to open the prostitution ring.
