Sea Planes Can Land On Lake Norman Too!

Sea-Rey experimental planes land on Lake Norman too. Several amphibious planes land on Lake Norman, including Tony's plane, Red Bull Plane, and others. Albatross is the type of plane that Red Bull uses. Anyhow, there are several air landing strips located on Lake Norman and even some communities with hangers and landing strips that you can live in! We have several that land and fly all over lake Murray. I love the new picture of you! Have a great weekend.

Looks like a "boat load" of fun but those trees looked a bit too close for comfort on take off from where I was sitting!

Sandy, WOW that is so cool. I viewed a couple of your videos and they brought back fun memories of my Colorado River days except there were not any planes taking off.

I was on the lake one day way up river and heard a loud noise and low and behold a plane lands on the lake...it was AWESOME!...Great Post!

Sandy, I live on Long Lake in Portage Lakes, Ohio and it is one of only 2 lakes in Ohio that has a clearance for sea planes! It is such a thrill to see my neighbor take off and land his sea plane, I am like a little kid!!
