Denver Real Estate Advice for Learning how to Learn!
Between real estate and technology there seems to always be something to learn. I remember on more than
one occasion when I sat in front of a computer trying to figure out what the heck I was doing wrong. Over and over I would try something only to find whatever I was trying to do was escaping me.
Today, I was sitting at the computer when I noticed a new comment on an old blog I wrote. The comment was from Candi Kinney who was having trouble linking. Reflecting back to my past frustrations, I didn't want her to go through what I did so many times before. So I picked up the phone and called her. We chatted and two minutes later Candi was happily linking, (with a big smile on her face I'm sure!)
It was fun to surprise her and help her on her way.
My take away for you in this is NOT to EXPECT ME or anyone to call, but to take it upon yourself to ask for help.
I have found when I want to learn something the BEST thing to do is HIRE a Tutor. Seek out someone who knows how to do what you are learning. PAY THEM to teach you. Money is good, bartering might be better.
The best thing with having a tutor is they can speak to your problem. You don't have to go all the way to the bottom of the rung of learning. They can jump right in at what you don't know and start there!
In my experience, this has saved my headaches and money! Try it!

So true, so true. I think many times we hesitate to divulge our inabilities, and don't ask for help (kinda like guys asking for directions!) I have been meeting with Mark Flanders, the leading scorer here in WA state. He is incredibly knowledgable on all things net-worthy.
