There is hope! I've been very discouraged reading about REALTORS® demanding extension of the $8,000.00 tax credit for purchasers of selected homes to the determent of individual home sellers! Driving down the value your home! Worse, the NAR is demanding the credit be nearly doubled! There is hope! A few understand. This is Robin Hoodish! Robbing the good who's only crime is making more than you do to give to poorer who's only claim is that they make less than you do! All for a perceived boast in sales, fact is these buyers needed housing, they already qualified for the loan before this costly abomination. There is hope! Some people understand for most this is stealing your tax dollars and your equity to buy votes.

There is hope! I've been very discouraged reading about REALTORS® demanding banks and bankers be required to take what ever they the REALTORS® think is best! There is hope! Some understand banking and some understand they know nothing about banking.

Then, there is hope! I found this:

Hi Hon,

I don't remember speaking being an option when we were in 4 H, it is a god idea and this young lady does give me hope.

Robin Hoodish or just hoodwinkish.  Either seems appropriate.  Happens when people can vote themselves a pay raise from someone else's pocket.

Bill - an excellent speech, I have to think she did have some help composing it, but, that is not really an issue. She expressed her own thoughts in her 3 word answer to the question posed. The young lady certainly does know how to give a speech.

Hi Love,

I think I competed one year. Speaking was a winter project.

Readers,

Brenda and I were both involved in 4-h from 10 to 20 and then when our kids were involved we were leaders. Because we both moved just before starting high school we never met. Brenda was in 4-H and grade school with the kids I was in 4-H and high School with. We didn't know this until preparing the invitations to our wedding and the same names came up on both our list! It saver on about 50 wedding dinners.

4-H is a wonderful program it builds character! If you don't don't believe me don't do as we did, we taught "Marksmanship" actually "low power (22) metal sliawets" to two dozen 10 to 18 year olds. We've spent many a day with armed children!

Erby,

There is no question those that weren't out voted in the primaries were hoodwinked!

Mike,

There is no question the speech was prewritten and rehearsed! So what politicians have speech writers and the current one and his predecessor both depend on tela-prompters. Her answer was wonderful.

Bill - like I said, I have no issue with it, but, there will be some out there that will certainly attack it because Sara is "being used" by her right wing parents for their own political agenda. Unlike those school kids who were taught to sing songs about Obama totally on their own spontaneous spur of the moment group think.

Spot on Bill.  we got into this mess by giving loans to people who could not afford the home

and the gov'ts solution is to give money to people, most of whom would not be able to afford a home without the 'free money'

Hugh,

I though just the opposent. I'd been reading Tutis's and Brady's blogs and getting discouraged, then Brenda pointed this out and I though there is hope!

It was a very nice way to end my day!

Mike,

But, it would be ok for the schools to brainwash the kids? We know what's happening, it's abuse to teach a kid anything other than the party line.

I kind of liked that uniformed marching group! Those kids looked like the films of the Hitler youth, only this time I could almost understand them.

Thanks!

Thanks Danial!

We got into this mess because it was politically convent to destroy our economy.

Hi, Bill. Sarah was definitely prepared, but her answer was impromptu. We need more young people like her. Thanks for sharing!

Bill,

I have seen an opposition to this whole credit thing on AR, but the supporters outnumber big time. At he same time it is so fancy to blame the banks for being everything bad and not decent. As if the whole idea of credit is anywhere decent.

What a sweet girl. thanks for sharing this video.

William: Lets see: $170,000,000,000 bailout for AIG, or a few billion for countless sanguine homeowners across the nation. The choice is not a hard one for me and I can't feel the least bit guilty about it. go NAR!

Jon,

Being in the majority does not make you right! We prove this every two years. Last election both sides proved it in the primaries.

Bill,

The trouble here, as you can clearly see it even in the comments, that we are not looking at things in the "right" or "wrong", but rather in "less wrong", and it is a very dangerous slip in public thinking.

The trouble is that "less wrong" does not make it right, but is perceived more an more like it.

Jon,

We'd normally say: "The lesser of two evils."

You're absolutely right! Like I said last year we lost it in the primaries, running a polite incompetent has been against the devil incarnate. There was very little logic only haters on the left and a few repugnant bigots on the right who repelled the middle.
