Selling your home may not be necessary.  I know that there are many of you out there trying to figure out the best way out of a mess you are in. By going to the website, MakingHomeAffordable.gov you can determine if you may be eligible by answering some simple questions.  You can also call 1-888-995-HOPE and speak with someone who will help you determine eligibility and help you get started.  

It is my hope that many of the struggling home owners out there can take advantage of this.  The foreclosures and short sales are not good for home values and are affecting the market.  If more people can stay in their homes it will be a win win for everyone.
