HOLD ON TO YOUR CARDS!!

LAST NIGHT, WHILE DOING SOME BANKING ON-LINE, I NOTICED SEVERAL DEBITS RECORDED ON MY BANK

STATEMENT. SINCE WE VERY RARELY USE OUR BANK CARD AS A DEBIT CARD(MASTERCHARGE), I QUICKLY

CHECKED!

WELL, TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT...SOMEONE HAD MADE A DUPLICATE OF THE CARD AND WAS

HAVING A GOOD TIME IN MUMBAI, INDIA SPENDING MY MONEY!!!

THE SUPERVISOR AT MY BANK EXPLAINED TO ME THE MULTI WAYS(AND ITS VERY SCARY) THIS CAN

HAPPEN.

BOTTOM LINE: WATCH THAT CARD THERE ARE SHOPPERS OUT THERE WAITING TO STEAL YOUR

INFORMATION.

Thank goodness that there are cards and lenders who have protection for the consumer in these sorts of situations. Even still it is tressful, but at least there is usually some sort of insurance coverage on your cards for this.

Rosa; sorry to hear that bad news. That's why I have Lifelock. $99 a year for me. We have to have it. I hope yours turns out OK.
