Imagine my surprise as I turned the corner and was greeted by this Gentleman of Fall. As you enter into the Forest Edge Subdivision in Murphy, NC he's there to alert you that the USFS lands that surround this small community will soon be showing all their glory as the leaves start to change to colors of yellow, gold and reds. If you're thinking of planning a visit to the mountains anytime soon, please visit our MOUNTAIN CABINS for a great Cabin in the Mountains. It's the perfect way to experience and enjoy the change of season. We'll keep you updated on how things are changing around the NC, GA and TN areas as Fall's cooler weather settles in. You can also call the Forest Service Fall Color Hotline. This hotline provides national forest visitors with weekly updates on Fall foliage color changes and activities throughout the nation. Wow. Fall decors are out??? I havent had time to think about it just yet.
Hi Rita - It's my favorite season too and it's here!
Hi Loreena - Just after Labor Day and the weather starts getting cooler and the leaves just start to show some changes coming, we start to decorate and enjoy Fall from start to finish.
Carol & Lee --- it just doesn't seem possible that fall is here again --- of course in Charleston, we aren't quite there.
Mama Liz
Hi Liz - We're loving those 60 degree mornings already and I think the peak fall colors are going to be a little early here this year. Thanks for stopping in and have a great weekend!
The leaves are beginning to fall and turn the beautiful fall colors here in Lewisburg WV. I love the fall!!
My favorite season too, Rebecca. Everyone is calling wanting to know when the "peak" time is to plan a trip up. Who can I ask - Mother Nature? I bet WV is gorgeous.
