Yesterday I finally decided to purchase a new camera that I had been looking at for a couple months now.  The Nikon D3000 is the newest D-SLR camera offered by Nikon.  It is a simple, and easy to use camera for those of us just starting out with SLR camera's.

I figured I would purchase the new camera as an added service to my clients.  I am now able to take professional quality pictures of my listings.  This is a feature that will be utilized for all marketing, including MLS photos, Visual tour photos, print photos for flyers and newspapers, and any online advertising such as Vflyers, and websites.

Here are a couple photos I took today with the new camera.  The pictures were taken in Dover New Hampshire along Watson Road.

Hello Bill....nice to see you on AR tonight.  I haven't heard from you lately! Did you take the summer off?  LOL

I'm looking for a new camera as wee. I want to upgrade. A friend has the Nikon D60 and it takes very nice pics. Don't know what the difference is exactly with the options and or the price diference. I'm going to check both out and see if it's right for me.\

Hope all is well with you and yours.

How's real estate in Dover area?

Best regards,

Patricia

Hi Patricia,

I've been very busy this summer.  I just did not have the time to visit AR that much.   The Dover market has been great for me, I'm up about 40% this year!

The Nikon D60 was very comparable to the the new D3000 that I have.  Nikon discontinued the D60, and is now marketing the D3000 and a few other models.  I like the D3000 because there is an auto mode, which automatically sets the perfect setting for each picture.  You also have the capability to choose several other modes once you become accustom to the camera.

If you get a chance, stop into BestBuy and check it out.
