Here's another edition of Midtown Moments....and an interesting take on what a real estate office can look like these days.

I won't say what our monthly lease is, but just imagine having 5,000 sq ft right on Peachtree Street, in the middle of Midtown Atlanta.

And this is what it looked like on a Saturday afternoon....

Thom...

So did you get to write that offer? Seriously, the market has changed ... the empty office echoes a little!

That IS an empty office!  My current office generally has at least a handfull of people scurrying around doing business.  My old office was empty all the time, even during the business days... hated it like that.  I like activity!

Thom

Need to get some more bodies in that office. You can do anything with an office as long as everyone has ebergy to sell real estate.

Richard: We did NOT write an offer...but I think we will in the next week or so. Waiting to hear about a potential contract falling out on one unit before we move forward. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Margaret: And it was the same way again today! It's pouring rain, and I guess if you have a home office you can work from there, and we have so many agents that are NOT selling, it amazes me they keep the doors open....

Tom: Keep point...everyone has to have the energy to sell, and it starts from the Broker/Owner on down.....ya gotta lead by example is how I learned the business world!

Thom, I think it all depends.  I like to go into my office to suck up the energy level.  That wasn't the case with my last broker.
