Have you visited the Q & A section of ActiveRain lately?

ActiveRain has a Q & A section that is set up for consumers to ask questions of the real estate professionals here, much like Trulia has for its site. While Trulia is catching on with the general public and has many professionals answering questions from consumers in a timely manner, the Q & A section here has not.

There are some wonderful questions asked lately by members of the public that have gone unanswered:

Many of the questions that are posted are those that we cannot answer (those that need an attorneys advice, etc.) but most are questions that we can help people with and also gain more exposure to other consumers.

I will have to take a look at this. Is there any way to sign up for a notification for questions on our area?

I'd never noticed that. I wonder if they could add a subscription service to it where you could be notified when new questions are posted (like Trulia does)? I've gotten a couple of buyers from answering Trulia questions.

Thanks for this timely reminder...it's been awhile since I checked into this important feature.

Bene, Edward & Celia, and Julia: As far as I can tell there isn't a way for us to sign up for automatic notifications, unlike the referral section of ActiveRain. Perhaps that's a suggestion that we could email the AR staff about?

I visit the Q & A section before I log off of AR for the session, and have made it a habit. But it sounds like many people don't even know it exists. Hope all of you will check it out now and perhaps be able to help a few of your local consumers.

Richard, I check it each morning. About once a week or so there is a question that I can help with. Do the same, you'll be happy you did.

Mike, It still can get out of hand, but mixed in there are some real consumers wanting real answers. Worth the time..
