This is a blog post for three people who take good pictures: Sylvie, Peter and David.
Generally, I would keep good ideas to myself. However, I really can't make good use of them and I know the three of you can.
Last weekend I was out sailing in the Toronto Harbour about two miles south of Toronto Island.
The Toronto skyline is spectacular from that vantage point.
You can easily take a nice picture from Humber Bay shores to Ashbridges Bay.
All the new condos, office buildings and other waterfront improvements are part of the panoramic view.
I know that such a shot, would be one of the best that you would have in your portfolio. It's not one that I have seen before. Most of the traditional skyline shots are taken from Toronto Island.
When you are south of the Island, then all you can see in the lower foreground, is trees with the buildings rising out of them.
As for me, I won't be taking them with my brownie camera. But, I do know that the three of you would be able to do justice to this spectacular view.
All the best and good luck!
