Be Accountable for your Success
Working at your full potential means holding yourself accountable to your goals. One of the luxuries in Real Estate is being flexible, choosing your own hours, the ability to work solo. One of the disadvantages is that we are tempted, at times, to blow past the follow through. Who is watching? Who cares if we tend to every detail?
One way to enforce the accountability is to keep your own success checklist. Make lists of things you should be doing on a regular basis. Continuously, ruthlessly check yourself, making sure you are being consistent with the follow through. Then, reward yourself when you reach a goal. You deserve it!
If you find you still have trouble holding yourself accountable, then you have no choice but to find someone that cares who can help you with this. Find someone who will hold you accountable.
Accountability allows you to innovate. Accountability allows you to grow. Accountability is necessary to your overall success.
How to "Be Accountable for your Success"
1. Don't be selfish. Do the things you need to do for someone else.
2. Have someone watch over you for quality control.
3. Have consequences when you are purposely procrastinating with your success duties.

Lyndon, This is one of the reasons our team concept works. Accountability to other team members keeps you on your toes. And it is much harder to let an item slide down a list if you have to talk about it at a team meeting. Thanks for the blog!
