Some brokers know how to have fun.

This weekend was my office's "Summer Shindig at Lake LBJ."  Sheila Moran (broker of RE/MAX Access and fellow ActiveRain member) knows how to throw a end-of-summer party and office get together.  There's something to be said for a group of agents who have come together to work and play together.  As you can see from the photo, there was some jet-skiing, but there was also a great boat ride through Lake Lyndon B. Johnson (map), some incredible food, lots of laughter and great conversation, prizes, and good 'ol plain fun.

If you've never been to Lake LBJ, you definitely need to check it out.  It's a gorgeous lake and not too far from San Antonio (it took us about one hour and forty five minutes to get there from the Northwest side of town - and that included the typical traffic snarl through the Stone Oak area on 281).  I definitely recommend it for a quick getaway from San Antonio.

If you've never been a part of RE/MAX Access - you don't know what you're missing.  I credit Sheila and her office for helping to really put life into my business.  I needed a change and was looking for some place that "got" technology and its uses in real estate.  I found it (plus more) at RE/MAX Access.  We're not the biggest office on the planet, but we are an office who have fun, work hard, and understand how to help each other out.  Sheila's building a great team in our office and I think the future will prove that she's making all the right moves.

Thanks Sheila, I had a blast.  I also want to thank the rest of the crew that were there, because you made it fun!  So thanks to Jeanna Martinez, Kristin Moran, Pat O'Brien, Carol, and all of the families and friends associated with us.  Even the kids were a ball!  Already looking forward to next summer!
