Ross Holmes Band plays a wide variety of danceable music from Big Band, Beach Classics, Standards, Rhythm & Blues to Party Music and a whole lot more in between. Ross and his band offer one of the finest and most versatile repertoires around, and are noted for their ability to entertain groups of all ages. 2-4 pm. Thursday, September 24. Art with a Heart. Wind down your Thursday evening with tremendous artwork as well as dessert and drinks on the rooftop of the Meridian Building (1320 Main Street). The office of Nelson, Mullins, Riley and Scarborough will host this annual benefit art show which features the work of local artists. A portion of all proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia’s cornerstone programs. The Melting Pot will be serving up some scrumptious complimentary desserts on the rooftop throughout the evening with an accompaniment of soothing acoustic music. 5:30-9:30 pm.
