Builder Turns Down Single Mom's Loan - We Got Her Approved At 2% Lower Than The Builder's Lender Turned Her Down At!!!

Our client was a single mom with 3 kids. She'd really been run through the ringer by an ex husband who left her high and dry with damaged credit. She had $15,000 in collections, $8 thousand in old judgments. Anyways, the builder's lender treated her terribly, wouldn't return her calls, and ultimately turned down her loan.

 

After researching 9 lenders and we got her loan approved at 2% lower than the builder's lender turned her down at!!! Not only did we get her approved, but the interest savings will be as high as $151,862.00 over the life of the loan!!!  Plus this lowered her payments $421 per month! Which will save her $5062 in the first year!!!

 

Then, just when we were celebrating, the builder said they were going to charge her an additional $2250 at the last minute! We were outraged. The client was shocked, and hurt as she saw her dream home slipping away after we had come so far. She did not have the extra money the builder was using as an excuse to steal back her home. The builder was absolutely being evil. They said that if she didn't agree to the higher number, they would simply sell the home to someone else. (See the house had gone up in value since they had begun to build it)

 

At the end of the day, Rose spent countless hours negotiating a win-win solution that the builder would accept. Our single mom got her home and Rose even stopped by with Pizza the day they moved in. Everybody gave her huge hugs. It's moments like this that make a person proud they do what they do for a living. We need to make money to pay keep the lights on, but helping people like this gives me more satisfaction than anything else.
