The fall temperature greets us here on Long Island with a colorful time of year as apple season is upon us. LARRY AND SHEILA Realtors with Charles Rutenberg Realty have complied the following list of Apple Orchards on Long Island. The availability of apples depends on the weather conditions and the apple supply, both of which can be unpredictable. The dates listed below are projected, so call ahead to confirm before visiting.                         apple

Pick-your-own peaches up to mid-October, nectarines through late September, and apples through October. Open 9am-6pm daily.

Filasky Farm

Fort Salonga Farm

Milk Pail Farm & Orchard

Apple and pumpkin picking through October. All apple trees are semi-dwarf for easy picking. Minimum apple pick is 1/2 bushel (20 pounds). Open Friday-Sunday and holidays 10am-5:30pm.

Seven Ponds Orchard

Apple and raspberry picking through November. Hayrides, five-acre corn maze, picnic area. Farm market with pre-picked fruits and vegetables, homemade pies, jams, and snacks. Open daily 9am-6pm.

Wickham Farms
