Chattanooga Real Estate - NW Georgia FloodingThat's the call I got this morning from the buyer's agent for a house that I have listed (and under contract). We are supposed to close in a couple of weeks and she wanted to know if there was anyway that we could come to an occupancy agreement so that the buyer could go ahead and get out of his waterlogged abode.

I think everyone here has just about had it with rain, Active or otherwise!

Waiting to get the appraisal and thus the financing contingency waived and then it looks like we'll  have an agreement. Appraiser is there now. Keep your fingers crossed.

Julia, WOW!  It is the seller you represent, right?  This is an awful thing to face for you and the seller, and it's a GOOD thing for the buyer that it happened prior to occupancy isn't it?  Please keep us posted for we want to know the outcome.
