Last Day of Summer!

LAST DAY OF SUMMER AT CANYON LAKE TEXAS

Summer is my favorite time of the year. Some may disagree saying it is too hot, too sunny, and too dry. I love all of that about summer here at Canyon Lake Texas.

It means walking down by the lake, watching families having fun at the parks (like Cranes Mill Park, Canyon Park, Jacob's Creek and all the parks around the lake).

Watching boats load and unload at the boat ramps.

Anglers headed out hoping to catch the big one.

Visitors and even some locals enjoying good family time at the parks and campgrounds

The wonderful smell of burgers and hot dogs grilling

Kids swimming at the subdivision swimming pool

Vacation Bible School (our youngest grandson attended his VBS this year).

Another summer at Canyon Lake has come and will disappear for this year by day's end. As for me, I look forward to next summer when it all begins again.

                                                              Good Bye Summer!

To all our new neighbors that purchased homes this summer in this area, we Welcome you to Canyon Lake, the best place in America to live. This is just my opinion. Thank you also if Carl inspected your home. Carl is a good man and does his very best to give you peace of mind that you have purchased a home that you and your family will enjoy for a very long time. We hope you will love living here at Canyon Lake as much as we do.  If you know someone that is moving or going to buy a home in this area we would appreciate any referrals for the Home Inspection.

Great salute Carl and Ceil.  Canyon lake is beautiful.  You are lucky to live near such a wonderful place.

We had a fun summer this year in spite of the lack of water in the lake.  I missed being able to wakeboard but did enjoy some nice floats down the Comal!  I am enjoying the long awaited rain and milder temps!  Happy Fall Y'all!!!

It was wet early on but the last four weeks have been gorgeous, sunny, dry here.

Is it the last day of summer already?! That makes me sad. But we still have a couple months of warm-ish weather ahead, so that helps.

    Cheers,

    Robin

Liz, we well know how fortunate we are. We have lived here a long time. I don't want to date myself but Carl worked on the dam when it was being built (of course he was just in kindergarten ha, ha)

Jeanne you well understand the beauty of the area. Yes we could have used a little more water this summer in the lake, but folks just kept coming as they always do.

Andrew - We have been under drought conditions for quite sometime but that seems to have settled as it is raining as I type this. I really enjoy summer, it's my favorite time of the year. Now for Carl he prefers cold weather.

Robin I head on the news this a.m. along with the rain we are getting today a "cold front" that will be  coming through. Ummm I wonder where that weather man is coming from on this one?

    Howdy there Ceil and Carl

What a mighty fine, blog post about the fun of summer, and to say good bye to the fun times that summer brings to folks.

I agree summer has plenty of advantages.  I must admit with the rains and the current temp of 64 it is a nice change.

Hello Dale thank you for stopping by my blog "saying good by to summer", it surely is my favorite time of the year. The grandkids are out of school and as you know I like to Rockport with them when I can. Carl will be home in a couple hours, has to get Brutus with the vet for his shots.

Richard it surely is a welcome rain and the temp is great, not too hot or cold. Thanks for stopping.
