Like so many of you, here in Birmingham AL were have had more than our fair share of rain in the past few days and it's not over yet!  It may be Monday before showers move out and we get a chance to dry out.

With reports of flooding and loss of life, I realize we are getting through all this a lot easier than some folks.  This morning we have even had several hours when I haven't seen a raindrop.  I took the opportunity to enjoy some time outdoors while I could and was grateful for it.  We are still under a flash flood watch in our area with isolated and scattered showers in the forecast for days.

Hi Ann, Isn't all this rain crazy?  I'm located in the NW corner of Al and we have been getting it too!  But I actually saw a few minutes of sunshine just a little bit ago.  Hopefully things will dry out soon.

Ann - Yes, we have blue sky here in N GA too, after more than a week's absence.  And thanks for the tour down memory lane.

We are now sharing in your rainy days.  But we are still way behind in rainfall, so I guess I can't complain.

Ann,  It's always nice to get a respite, and it sounds like you took advantage of the break in the weather today! I hope you stay dry and have no flash flooding!

Hope you all get some rain breaks. We've been getting some amazing pictures on television out here, like the Six Flags Amusement Park roller coaster under water somewhere in Georgia I think it was. We still need some rain out here, so feel free to ship us some. Just not too much....

Hi Ann, I am sorry to hear that you are getting too much rain.  Flooding can be devastating.  We were very happy today to get rain; it was a nice soft rain that felt wonderful and cooled things off.  Take care.

Yesterday afternoon the sun came out and I saw a rainbow!  We only have a 50% chance of rain today and the skies look mostly clear right now.

I've been watching it and communicating with my friends from Montgomery. Be safe, are you schools out, like in Georgia.

We've been rainless for a couple of days, although showers are in the forecast.  Next week it is supposed to be dry and cooler, which will be great because it's been so humid!
