- Curb appeal- stand across the street and look at your house the way a buyer will
- Sweep front walkway.
- Remove newspapers, bikes, and toys.
- Park extra cars away from the property.
- Trim the shrubs.
- Apply fresh paint as needed and repair any wood rot.
- Clean windows and window coverings throughout.
- Make sure roof and gutters are in good condition

Inside
- Keep plumbing and all appliances in working order.
