Wow! This potentially could be good tool for the agents. Since it is Res.net, I signed up without even waiting for the details of it. I wonder how it would affect other agent task management programs out there. One thing that interested me the most is that agents could customize task based upon the way they handle their REO, short sale transactions and keep buyer information to match them with upcoming listings. They are giving discounted price of $250.00 until Sept. 27th then it goes to $450.00. It is scheduled to be released Nov 1st 2009. If you have more info please give in your feedback.
No, it is a task management system for agents. My understanding is that it is something similar like Taza REO, agent office, eBrokerhouse, aspeniagent and REOMaestro etc.
They will be hosting Webinar's once system is activated on Nov 1st 2009.
I received the same notification today also. I wonder by signing up if it give you an advantage of receiving listings over the rest who do not?
Paul, I do not think it will make difference with the listings, that will still be based upon score and relationship with the asset managers, but for sure it will look good on the resume, when agents use industry known name to manage their business. As for as being user friendly we have to use it to know. Also if industry shifts to pre-approved short sales as being said in the media, it could prove to be a better tool.
Namneet: Is this for REO listings on Resnet only? I'm curious I don't have that many listings using Res.net. How many REOs do you have that are currently using the system? Julie
I was at 5 Star and vitied their booth and asked that question as well regarding getting preference for listings and the answer was NO. So if there is no more chance of getting listings by using this system, than why use it unless it is the best one?
I use Taza now, but I am going to be switching to eBrokerHouse. Ive been on a free trial and it does everthing Taza does for much cheaper. Plus I love their customer support. I get a real person evertime I call and they are super helpful. I asked for a couple small features to be added and they were within a couple days. That was awesome. You don't find that anywhere else.
Cindi, I use EBrokerhouse as well, I love there offer uploading system and the custom task creation. The only thing I am looking at this point is to be able to see my sent messages. If eBrokerhouse can come up with that it will be awesome.
Because there are so many scams out there (kevin)verification of the reo contact issue is a must. One I use and recommend is reotrans. You sign up for free and are able to put in your office zip for free and pay a minimum fee for other zip code areas. I have about 12 zips and my monthly fee is around $15.00. And yes it works. I got 6 listings from lenders using their system.
Good luck
I also purchased the new release from Res.net - it is not working yet - not until Jan 2010 (push back).
I am also sampling ebrokerhouse and I love it so far. reasonable priced.
I love ebrokerhouse as well, they keep coming with new features. I just like the layout of it, it is simple. It is a great help to manage my REOs and regular sales as well. If we get into pre-approved short sales, as being speculated by the industry, it is there for it.
How do you get your score with Res.net up high enough to start getting some of the listings?
RESNET's "AMP" product is just a new overlay that adds some functionality to RESNET to make it "usable" for agents. In an honest moment, RESNET will tell you that it was a platform never designed for agents to use at all. It was designed for lenders and outsourcers. This new functionality is supposed to make it more user friendly from the agent side. It hasn't been released yet, but I just had a test run, and well. . .not impressed yet. Hopefully it'll continue to be developed. . .
Ok, I had one-hour webinar with Res.net, very detailed tour for the system. It exhibits many useful features for the agents and they are still updating it. It has the ability to add all kind of listings and sort those out in different ways. Also it can convert the work into excel and pdf form for a running sheet for reference on the list of property details, expenses etc. It does give the ability to go back to completed tasks that was the one feature lacked in the Res.net. There is a long list of items, which it can manage; so far, it has been user friendly.
They do promise that it will increase your exposure to the asset manager community as it gives agent the ability upload certification resume etc. That will be the most appealing feature for non-Res.net agents. I believe that res.net users would not have choice, as it brings so much into the management of those listings from agent's prospective. I am sure there is more to come.
