Congratulations to Showhomes Madison in Madison, WI!
I don't know about your high school kids, but I imagine if mine built a house, it might have more than a few flaws.
Vocational high school students in the Oregon School District in Madison, Wisconsin did just that. They built two houses for school projects and put both on the market for sale to recoup expenses. These were very nice, well-built homes priced in the $300,000 range. Both homes sat on the market for more than a year empty.
The school district hired Showhomes to stage the home and provide a live-in Home Manager. Despite the sluggish market, the first home sold in 35 days, and the second home sold in 57 days.
