Two Homes, Two Different Price Points with the same results - SOLD

I recently posted a blog Professional Home Staging is NOT Just for the Luxury Home Market, where I listed some of our recent successes under the $400,000 price point. Just today I found out that two more of our very recently staged homes have gone under contract, which proves my point that professional staging should be considered for EVERY price point.

Three weeks ago we staged a spec home for a Custom Home Builder in Chapel Hill NC, listed at $1,175,000. After languishing on the market for over 200 days the builder had us come stage the property. Three weeks later they are under contract!

Two weeks ago we staged a townhome in Cary, NC, listed at $185,000. The agent contacted us before this home hit the market. The homeowner made the right updates and this home was picture perfect the first buyer saw it.

These homes have almost exactly a $1 Million dollar price difference. Both chose to have their homes professionally staged and BOTH just went under contract!

Hey Michele, I tried to watch your shows but they were blank...unless it's my computer something is wrong.

Michele -- Donna is correct....the shows are definitely coming up blank. I will check back later because I am looking forward to seeing the end results of your staging.

Michele - Great job on both homes. Actually the staging in the lower priced home made it look like it could have competed with the higher priced home! It proves that lower priced homes can look fabulous too! You are very talented...

Hi Michele, congratulations on the sale of both homes. Very nice staging jobs! I've had many people think that staging is only for the upper market, then I explained why any price point can benefit from staging!

Nice job on the video presentations for both properties. As more and more Real Estate Agents and homeowners see the results of Home Staging, preparing a property prior to listing on the market will be a norm. Just think of the time and money that could of been saved if the builder had the property Staged at earlier.

GREAT work, one suggestion though on your video presentations. Try to avoid zooming in. It creates the illusion that the room is getting smaller. Instead, focus on a point of the room and zoom out, which creates the illusion the room is bigger.
