My baby girl and I last Friday. I went to the School and we had a healthy breakfast with all her classmates and we sang the "Happy Birthday" song. It was fun and everyone enjoyed it. I am so happy my little girls are growing up, but a little nostalgic, as well. They are my strength and my inspiration, and believe it or not, my best teachers. Do you remember when you turned 7? It's a big deal!
What a cutie -- you are right , they sure do grow up fast -- all the best.
Elayna, Love the picture of the two of you. All little seven year olds should have a postivie mommy like you! :)
My daughter juts turned eight and so I know your special joy. Thnaks for sharing the moment.
Elayna, Tell her Happy Birthday from us as well. Yes they do grow up fast and the days fly by. 7 is definitely a big deal. Thanks for sharing this milestone in your lives.
What a darling picture, Elayna. I see a frame around that picture and a place upon your office desk or on the hallway wall back at home. I can't remember that far back, but it looks like your daughter had a great 7th birthday because you were there to share it with her friends at school.
I can not remember turning 7. With these great pics, your daughter will always be able to remember. Great job!
My 7th birthday. Do I remember - you bet!
I was one of eight children and mom and dad had very little money. A birthday present at that time was a big deal, since my parents could barely afford it with all the expenses they had.
Mom was clever. She needed a new garden hose for her plants and knowing how much I enjoyed playing in the water while jumping over the sprinkler outside, she bought me a garden hose for my birthday.
I was ecstatic about my new garden hose! (I wish I could find the picture.) She was tickled pink because she had managed to buy the hose she needed and combine it with a gift to me and save money.
Boy, those were the days.
Had to stop by on this one too with a Happy 7th. I can see she is so loved...
Elayna - I had to stop at take a peek also and what a couple of cute girls. I took a look at your groups you post to and I didn't see any of mine, how come?
I would be thrilled if you joined a couple so I could see that wonderful smile of yours more often. If you go to my blog page underneath the silly photo of the man by the Las Vegas sign you will see a bunch of groups, those are 75% of my groups.
I do look forward to seeing your smiling face pop up around some of them soon!
