Columbus Western Franklin County has disappeared

It actually looks as if it disappeared a couple of months back...  a large portion of the western part of Franklin County that mostly surrounds the city of Hilliard is gone... poof, disappeared.

area 01 graph missing

This graph is for an area identified as 01 in our MLS (multiple listing service.)  The description is Co/ Fra S Dublin Hilliard Corp.   It was a big area to just disappear that way.

No sales in this month?  Of course not... the graph above shows inventory, there is nothing to sell.

Vast neighborhoods are missing.  Did you read anything in the Columbus Dispatch?  Hear about it on Channel 4 News???

How could a whole big chunk of Western Franklin County be missing and go unnoticed?

Western Franklin County disappeared - the missing neighborhoods

Whole neighborhoods...  mostly in Hilliard City School District but some in South Western City Schools, the City of Columbus schools and a bit of Dublin City School District too...  gone.

The Glen, Cross Creek, Ballymead, Golfview Woods, Hayden Falls Heights,  Hilliard Green, Kilbannon, Northbridge Village,  Sweetwater Estates, Scioto Woods and many, many more. Most are were in the City of Columbus but a bit in unincorporated areas... townships but they are gone... all gone.

Nothing, nada, zilch...

I put something such as:

"Trendgraphix uses single family and condominium sales combined. The graphs are based on data available at the end of August 2009.  The graph was created with data from the Columbus Board of REALTORS® and Trendgraphix.  Only Real Living HER agents are authorized to use Trendgraphix in Central Ohio."

on each of my market report posts where I use TrendGraphix.

TrendGraphix uses a disclaimer....

"*All reports are published Sep. 2009, based on data available at the end of Aug. 2009.
All reports presented are based on data supplied by the Columbus Board of Realtors, Greater Cincinnati MLS and Dayton Area Board of Realtors or theirs MLSs. Neither the Association nor their MLSs guarantee or are in anyway responsible for its accuracy. Data maintained by the Association or their MLSs may not reflect all real estate activities in the market. Information deemed reliable but not guaranteed."

Ooops.  I hope it is an error and the neighborhoods in MLS area 01 have not disappeared from the face of the earth.

Western Franklin County disappeared  - data

I look at school districts usually rather than MLS areas so I am trusting the data I've shared for the  Dublin and Hilliard areas is reliable....  the only place I rely on data on an MLS area is the Clintonville area...

Dublin homes for sale- the school district

Hilliard homes for sale - the school district

I checked to make sure there was not an MLS area change.... nope.
