What is Your Season?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Top Agent Plus

Have you ever had a color analysis done? It can be fun and it has to do with skin tone, eye and hair coloring. There are four seasons for the color analysis and you will generally fit into one of them - Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter.

Which colors make you look your best?  Check out Fashion Sense Club just for fun.

I was told my season was Winter, but my heart belongs to Autumn.

Here's why...

Nemaskit River - Fall 2009

Nemasket River in Lakeville MA

The swamp maples are the first to show their dramatic colors and the river is a great place to find them.

I'm with you...mother nature's paint brush has just begun to do her artistry here...a little nip in the air...soon the crunch of leaves under your feet...the smell of the bonfire next door...ahhhhh...

HA!  I don't need a color analysis, I know precisely how colors make me feel.

Perhaps it's the artist in me.

Well the test says I am summer, but like you, fall colors are my favorite. And by the way, that is one gorgeous photo!!!

I like the Fall time of year BUT I also like the Spring when everything starts to come back to life.

I remember when this went around several years ago.  I believe I remember that mostly ladies were doing it...didn't it have to do with makeup or fashion or something?

Nevertheless, AWESOME picture!  You should repost it on Speechless Sunday.  Absolutley beautiful.

As for me, I love the color RED...whatever that means!

The color analysis shows me as an Autumn. It is my favorite season, the sights and sounds of leaves gently falling are wonderful.

Hi Judy, first of all love the beautiful photo you posted! It's indicated I'm an Autumn & those are my color preferences, wow pretty accurate.

Sally & David - I know it is such a great time of year. If only it would stay a little longer it seems so fleeting.

Lenn - That you are! I have seen some of your art work on AR and it is wonderful.

Andrea - coming from such a great photographer, I take that as a big compliment.

Don - I agree Don, spring is great too. In fact, when the trees are budding there is a glimpse of fall colors with the green and red buds. We are very lucky in New England to experience all the seasons.

Bob - Yeah, women tend to be more interested in it as it does have to do with makeup and fashion. Glad you liked the photo and I could see red being a good color on you. BTW, yearbookyourself.com is hillarious!

Jen - Another thing that is so good about this time of year, are the crisp and cruncy apples! Yum.

Cynthia - Thanks I drive over this bridge frequently and HAD to stop yesterday to snap a photo. That is just a very small tease of what we see for color here. The analysis is pretty accurate, and if you look in your closet, I bet most of those colors are in your wardrobe already.

Morning Judy, I bet it makes you feel good and maybe even smile when you drive over this bridge. You are correct those colors are in my wardrobe! Every one of them and I was actually surprised how accurate this test was.

Judy, I'm a spring;.  The first color reader thought autumn, and the second said definitely Spring.  And I do look a lot better in spring colors!  I'm a fan.

Cynthia - Me too! I had mine done at a makeup party years ago. They gave us color swatches to take home and it was really wild to see that I had all of those colors in my closet. One color that is not flattering to my "season" is off white, I had that color and a few other unflattering colors, and I laughed when I tried to remember the last time I wore them.

Pat- Right now, I could pass for Autumn, but that has more to do with hair dye. Shhhh, don't tell anyone. I have that "does she, or doesn't she" thing I am trying to maintain. LOL
