Looking for some amusement park fun?  You've come to the right place!  Six Flags New England is located in Agawam, MA close to the city of Springfield.  When I was in 8th grade, we took a school trip to the park that was then known as Riverside and since converted into one of the Six Flags family members.  A day at Six Flags is guaranteed to have something for everyone.  There are thrill rides such as the Superman and the Mind Eraser, 3 kids areas including Thomas Town and Wiggles World, a water-park and more!  The park is HUGE so be sure to wear some good walking shoes.  The park is open from April through Halloween in October.  With a season pass you can enjoy even more fun with FREE friend passes, discounts on food and special offers.  Season passes are for 2010 are for sale now and just $13 above the price of a one day pass.  If you purchase a season pass now, you can enjoy the rest of the 2009 season FREE as well.

I think this is one of the biggest reasons I didn't have to miss Texas that much.  Six Flags over Texas was the original Six Flags wasnt' it?  I think because there were 6 different Texas Flags since it has been a known location.
