Obviously it has been a problem....

Sometimes one must wonder.... I guess here in Florida if it is green and flat it is golfable (not sure that is a word!

Community Park of Rockledge provides soccer, trails, bike paths, a skateboard park/course, a playground, pavillion and more.

But it does not provide golfing. Residents are encouraged to use the nearby Turtle Creek Golf Course or Viera East Golf Club!

Must be that gang of angry Golfers stirring up trouble again!

The way I play golf it is well worth the $5 for a bucket of balls at the driving range. It would take me hours to pick up all my balls if I practiced in a field like this!

I know several die hard golfers who will play on any surface that is green making signs like that necessary.

If you have to make up a permanent sign, it is a problem.

I fly radio control airplanes. Sometimes, a golfer will practice near us, not knowing that it's not a safe thing to do, two sports that do not mix.

Can the people who need to read that sign, actually read it? Maybe it need to be in large print!

I've seen signs like this in other areas. The sign doesn't say anything about the sidewalks or roads. :)

Hi Gary! I would say 'golfable' is a word--if the shoe fits... :-)

We have more trouble with skateboarders here in Charlotte--there are no skateboarding signs all over the place here as well as little metalic 'bumps' installed on decorative walls to keep the skateboarders off! I think I'd rather be clobbered by a skateboarder than hit in the head with a golf ball though!
