Wordless Wednesday--Excellent Marketing "Hook"!

Ever wonder what merging the first time homebuyer credit and the cash for clunkers programs marketing plan might look like?

This "sign" attracts a lot of attention in the Forest Lake/Columbus/Lino Lakes area just north of the 35 E/W split.

Unfortunately, just a day after I snapped this shot, the program ended with a bang! The "hook" gave way and the whole RV landed on the ground...and it had such potential as a fixer-upper too! LOL!

Teri, I sure do like that picture, that is very good advertising. How about hoisting a house up there, LOL.

We used to have a cottage at Forest Lake many years ago. Hey, is that my old RV? :)

Betina--I thought it was kind of a unique promo. I have to drive by it every day and it does get a few second looks!

Andrea--Sure that would be a great way to attract buyers wouldn't it?

Joan--I laugh every time I drive by it!

I saw you rblog and I thought - how Minnesotan. I love it and it is very creative!! I can imagine you laugh every time you drive by....I would!

Yvette and Dennis--It is quite unique! Not everyone thinks out of the box like this!

Carole--It is quite an attention getter on the main freeway...Especially in the road construction slowdown. Makes people smile! :)

Marcia--Most of the old cottages have been transformed into huge lake homes now. (If that was my RV, I wouldn't claim it now...lol.)

Anna--Laughed like crazy this morning as the "hook" gave way and the "sign" is a little lower and SMASHED on one end...Bet that awoke a few neighbors overnight!

Karen--You give me too much credit...We drove by it about 10 times but just happened to have a camera and passenger who could take the photo in the car one day as we approached after laughing at it for days!
