Provide keys for all doors and gates.

Make sure that all domestic animals are secured.

Change or clean dirty A/C filters.

Clean range exhaust filter if there is grease build up.

Check batteries in smoke detector.

Free windows that have been painted shut.

Replace torn weather stripping around exterior doors.

Replace any missing switch or receptacle covers.

Clean gutters and down spouts.

Here's another one - replace any burnt out light bulbs.  No sense letting the inspector plant the idea that there might be an electrical problem.

GREAT List - I always remind my sellers to change the filters. Why give the inpsector any ideas!
