    Howdy there Carl and Ceil

This is a mighty fine Fall Inspection Checklist, for Home Owners, and those First Time Home Buyers out there.

Folks sure do want to have their chimney cleaned. There is always a threat of a chimney fire, if folks don't have their chimney cleaned. And at the same time they sure also want to have the chimney looked over for any cracks that may have develop, from the result of their chimney settling. And they also take a look at the area, where their chimney exits out of the roof, as to if it has develop any cracks in that area.

David it just means a little home maintenance to make sure everything is ship-shape and in good order.

Dale we both know it is importance to keep up good home maintenance even if it is a pain sometime. You are right about the chimney.

Michael those gutters a must. Our leaves don't fall until the spring so I don't have to fool with that right now. Folks  sure need to be careful climbing ladders.

Richard, its something you can whip  out on a Saturday then you'll have it done for the season.

I would add "Prune trees and bushes away from the roof, siding, chimney, and utility lines."

Hey Russell thanks for the reminder. We all know how much damage trees can cause if they are planted too close to the house. They are small when they are planted and folks don't allow for when the tree becomes mature.
