I first saw this bungalow in a picture and I thought it was so adorable. I thought it was enchanted! When I first drove to the property, I drove up route 9. Route 9 is the main road parallel to the Hudson River and mostly commercial property including the Poughkeepsie Galleria, which is only five minutes away from the property. I turned onto Hackensack road and was surprised to drive a very short distance to Lakeside Drive. As I turned onto Lakeside, I was reminded of Kauai. The road is like a small country road surrounded by trees. I turned into the driveway of 12 Lakeside and noticed how the trees created such great privacy. The front yard opens up and there is a majestic tree at one end of the property. Lots of flat land with grass. I could just imagine a great barbecue with people hanging out on the land. The bungalow is adorable with nice flowers planted in front of it. As I walked to the back, I could see the lake and I noticed that as close as we were to route 9, you could not hear the traffic. I imagined getting off of work and driving home to my vacation home every day!
