I had a chuckle the other day when I saw a large billboard on the side of the road. I had to slow down to see what this was all about. It was a private for sale company offering "Full Service & No Commission". I thought "WOW this is amazing!!"
My only question is what is "Full Service"?
As real estate agents we offer "Full Service". To me this is what "Full Service" means:
- We will get pre-qualify buyers that go through your home.
- We will make sure that the buyers are serious buyers, not just tire kickers
- We will take care of all necessary paperwork
- We will ensure that your best interests are protected
- We will write up offers for clients
- We will negotiate on your behalf to get you top dollar for your home
- We will be the liaison with your lawyer
- We will meet you at 9:00PM if needed to negotiate that offer
- We will advertise your home on more than one web site (most agents will do this)
- We will prepare feature sheets for you
- We will give you feedback (whenever possible) on each visit
- We will prepare a market evaluation for you
- We will put your house in print ads
- We will hire a professional photographer to showcase your home
- We will hire a home stager to prepare your home
- We give you tips to help sell your home
- We have years of experience
- We will keep an eye on the real estate market to ensure you get the best price
- We will be available for you (almost 24hrs per day)
- We can answer your questions
- We are there for you
- and much more . . . . . .
Just make sure that when you get your house ready for sale you do your homework and get all the answers you need before making a decision. Are you ready for all the work that goes along with selling your home? What kind of Full Service are you getting?
If you needed surgery for you or one of your kids would you do it yourself or would you hire a professional?
