Do you use Feedburner?

Real Estate Agent with Surterre Properties

I am always researching new website and finding ways to optimize my blogs. Someone recommended to me. So I ask...

Do you use it? How does it work? What exactly is the benefit of it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And thank you for making me Your Orange County Real Estate Connection.

I registered and begain using it a couple of months ago.  So far I find the results and usage limited, as well as a bit off subject.  It just is so broad.  There are other sites offering similar services, as well.  It doesn't take much time to log in, do a little networking and updating, so I continue planting the seeds and watering regularly.  Sometimes we can be totally surprised where a client or busienss comes from?

I use Feedburner, but I don't really know much about it.  I use it as a source for people to subscribe to my blog so that when I post a new entry they receive it automatically via their email.

If you're looking at FeedBurner also look at FeedBlitz.  Automated emails from your blog, plus Twitter, IM and RSS stats.  It's also supported, which may make a difference for business use.

I use Feedburner.  If you look at my post I have a banner that is provided by Feedburner.  It allows people to add their blog to their feed whether those use google or another reader to keep track of their favorite bloggers.  I do not get a huge amount of traffic, but enough to warrant subscribing to it, and it is free.  I would recommend submitting your blog to mutiple catalogs.  This is where your traffic will really begin to grow.  Good luck.

Michael - I use feedburner, but am not sure I have it fully optimized.  What I need to do is find something to allow reader to subscribe to my blog, either by email subscription or RSS feed.  Not exactly sure if feedburner can do this or not.
