MLS TECH FAIR 2009 - New York

I am really excited that ActiveRain and the MLS of Long Island have invited me to be a guest speaker and part of their 8th Annual MLS Tech Fair this year.  The days schedule will be filled with great speakers, topics, breakout sessions, and an exhibit hall full of new and exciting products from some of the Top Industry Service Providers.

The list of Sponsors for this event is nothing short of impressive.  If you happen to be anywhere near Long Island, NY this week, you should take a day out and spend it with us.  Once you see their site and all that is being offered, I think you'll agree that this is the Grand Daddy "Tech Fair" of ALL Tech Fairs.  Come join us if you can, I'd love to see you there.

Brad - that's a pretty impressive group you are joining. So with the first class roundtrip air travel you must be feeling pretty proud of yourself. :)

We will have to put you on the circuit around the Country with a stop in Toronto Canada, a little more Rain in the Fall won't hurt.

Blog-N-Roll Brad...

Do you play your guitar at these events? :)

Don't mind me. I just knew a day with me saying Hi to you, just can't happen :)

Oh...

And I'm sorry about my potty mouth. I've been hanging with a Marine. His influence is going to get me in trouble :)

Even BB has mentioned the potty mouth thing. That can't be good :)

Is that scheduling right, they're only giving you 15 minutes for How to Use ActiveRain? This could easily run through lunch.

Miriam - this event is NOT just for members only. Check out their website for more details.

Andrea and Rick - I'll try to give more advanced notice in the future.  Been really busy lately. Sorry.

Matt - I'll have a good time, just let me know if you win the REBlogWorld trip. Good luck buddy!

Dick and Dixie - We'll be in Florida sometime soon....

Barbara - looking forward to meeting you in person at one of these one day soon.

Bill - is it possible to not have a good time in the "Big Apple?" No way!!  :)

Leslie - haven't heard from C-Tann Starr, can you let her know about this for me?  Just don't let her "Jack" this post.  haha~

Jeff - not proud, humbled!  Ok... maybe a little proud. lol~  :-))   This is going to be an awesome event, and to be up there with some of the best in the industry (some were my mentors) it really and truly is an honor to be here.

Susie - we'll be comin around the mountain when we come.  Watch for a RainCamp to sprout up soon in your area...

Steve - it's really the other way around, I'll be surrounded by great speakers and company.

Jane - I am here to learn more than I am to teach.  Some of the best learning at these events happens in the hallways.

Al & Peggy - Have laptop and iPhone, will travel.  <grin> Sounds good to me.

TLW - do I play guitar at these? Heck no, I want to get invited back!!  lol~  What email???  :-O  (shhh...)

My goodness, Brad, I wish I had known, I would have definitely attended!  They need you out here, you'll have to visit the MLSLI and look at the photos!  Gee, I'm so sorry I didn't know you'd be coming to town!

John - I'll have to talk really fast!  :-))

Laurie - you can follow our updates on twitter, just search twitter using the #MLSTF and you'll see everything that is being posted and talked about.  I'll try to bring back some goodies (photos and video) to post about later too.

Carole - I came all the way across the United States to be here, you better come. I've been waiting to meet you in person forever!!  Sure hope you'll try to make it.

Brad,  I am soooo jealous!  I was born and raised on Long Island and cut my teeth in real estate out in Moriches.  I told my friends to come see you.  Do you think they have some cheap fairs to McArthur???

8:48pm • #22
Brad - couldn't you have given us more than just one day's notice. I would have loved to be there but can't clear my calander for tomorrow. What a bummer and I'm probably in GREAT GREAT need of this. I'm beginning to feel severly technologically challenged. Besides, I would have loved the chance to meet you.

Brad, I almost always go to the Tech Fair but wasn't planning on it this year. If I can possibly make it, I'll try to come. Wish I'd had a little more notice.

Brad,

I have been watching the speaker roster for weeks and Active Rain was not on it till few days ago.  I was not intending to go this year but when I saw your name, I immediately registered.  I'll be in all your events.  Welcome to Long Island.  It's a great place.  See you tomorrow!

Brad,

Wow!  You are in great demand... and I know why.. :)

Hope you're in our area soon with your expertise to share!

I thought about plane tickets to Seattle but instead am hopeful that you will be closer during the next year.

Sorry guys for the last minute post about this, I figured anyone in this area would have already heard or known about this.  I was also hoping this post would serve a dual purpose, it's my "out of office" message for those trying to find me.

We're here now so come on down.  :-)

Brad, will you and the ActiveRain team be coming to the Central Coast of California soon?  Maybe to San Luis Obispo?

Please let me know.  Thanks!

Pamela - if you want to set something up, I'd be happy to come down there and do a workshop or Junior Raincamp. Give me a ring and we can go over the details and what it would take to make it happen. Thanks. I'm headed back from NY this morning, then off to Seattle's RainCamp next week. 707 718-6773 :-)
