I am really excited that ActiveRain and the MLS of Long Island have invited me to be a guest speaker and part of their 8th Annual MLS Tech Fair this year. The days schedule will be filled with great speakers, topics, breakout sessions, and an exhibit hall full of new and exciting products from some of the Top Industry Service Providers.
The list of Sponsors for this event is nothing short of impressive. If you happen to be anywhere near Long Island, NY this week, you should take a day out and spend it with us. Once you see their site and all that is being offered, I think you'll agree that this is the Grand Daddy "Tech Fair" of ALL Tech Fairs. Come join us if you can, I'd love to see you there.

Also thanks to Jon and Bob for letting me take a little break, and even though I'll still be working, you can bet I'll be having some fun too!

My goodness, Brad, I wish I had known, I would have definitely attended! They need you out here, you'll have to visit the MLSLI and look at the photos! Gee, I'm so sorry I didn't know you'd be coming to town!
Laurie - you can follow our updates on twitter, just search twitter using the #MLSTF and you'll see everything that is being posted and talked about. I'll try to bring back some goodies (photos and video) to post about later too.
Carole - I came all the way across the United States to be here, you better come. I've been waiting to meet you in person forever!! Sure hope you'll try to make it.
Brad, I am soooo jealous! I was born and raised on Long Island and cut my teeth in real estate out in Moriches. I told my friends to come see you. Do you think they have some cheap fairs to McArthur???
Brad - couldn't you have given us more than just one day's notice. I would have loved to be there but can't clear my calander for tomorrow. What a bummer and I'm probably in GREAT GREAT need of this. I'm beginning to feel severly technologically challenged. Besides, I would have loved the chance to meet you.
Brad,
I almost always go to the Tech Fair but wasn't planning on it this year. If I can possibly make it, I'll try to come. Wish I'd had a little more notice.
I have been watching the speaker roster for weeks and Active Rain was not on it till few days ago. I was not intending to go this year but when I saw your name, I immediately registered. I'll be in all your events. Welcome to Long Island. It's a great place. See you tomorrow!
Sorry guys for the last minute post about this, I figured anyone in this area would have already heard or known about this. I was also hoping this post would serve a dual purpose, it's my "out of office" message for those trying to find me.
Pamela - if you want to set something up, I'd be happy to come down there and do a workshop or Junior Raincamp. Give me a ring and we can go over the details and what it would take to make it happen. Thanks.
I'm headed back from NY this morning, then off to Seattle's RainCamp next week. 707 718-6773 :-)
Hope the event went as planned. I am originally from Long Island - Syosset. I was back in 2002 - needless to say a lot changed since the last time I was there in '67
