End Of The Month Insanity, Thanksgiving, And A Complete Lack Of Imagination

So the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit is set to end on November 30, 2009. Or it will get extended. Or it will not. Who knows?

As I sit here and look at my list of scheduled (wishful) closings, and think about the insanity that is about to ensue at the end of a normal month, I can't help but wonder what brainiac decided to end this program at the end of the month, coming off of a holiday weekend.

Would it really have made such a difference if it ended on December 5th? December 15th?

Everyday the various network pundits expel tons of facts, figures, and in general a whole lot of data on the financial markets, and the average Joe is supposed to try to make heads or tails of it.

Well, this average Joe thinks that if they can't plan any better than this, it is no wonder the financial world is in the shape that it is. It is pure insanity to have this program end on a holiday weekend; do they not have calendars in the Federal Goverment? If they do, could they please do us poor working stiffs a favor and at least glance in the general direction of it?
