Sometimes life throws eggs at you and you have to decide whether you let them rot on you.....

or make scrambled eggs and eat them.

My husband's employer decided to transfer him from Dawsonville to Douglasville. They gave us 6 days notice to get moved and report to work. I know what you're saying, but if you have a good job with benefits these days you have to do whatever is necessary to keep it. And being that he's the primary bread winner I had no choice but to cooperate.

I hope this explains why my posts went from featuring Dawsonville to Douglasville. (Well, I haven't posted anything about Douglasville yet- but I will!) The good news is that my real estate license is for the entire state of Georgia and as long as we stay in the state, I can work wherever I go.

Back to the subject of egg throwing...I have to admit I was hesitant at first to re-group and start over in a new town. I became discouraged and thought about giving up the business for awhile and getting a 'job'. But now that I've had time to digest it and meditate on it for awhile, I've decided that I can't give up doing what I love to do.

When I moved to Georgia from Florida in 1995 I moved to the area where we have moved to, so  I'm familiar with the area. In no time at all, I am up and running- full steam ahead.

I'm cooking those eggs and they are going to be delicious!

If you're reading this and you're in the Douglasville area and you are looking to buy or sell a home- give me a call. If you're facing foreclosure and would like to discuss doing a short sale  to avoid foreclosure, give me a call.

I look forward to new possibilities, making new friends, and helping folks in Douglasville follow their dreams!

I will also be sponsoring the Douglasville, GA page on Localism.com. Be sure to check back from time to time to find updated pages and information about Douglasville. I make it my business to know what's going on and where and to provide you with the most up to date information possible.

Kimberly,

I say when life throws you eggs, make omlets.  It is taking something ordinary and making it grand.  It is how you set your services apart from those going after the same business.

Hello and good luck....Hope everything works out for the best!   It generally does even if we don't know it at the time. I've found change is good so embrace it and enjoy.

Kimberly - How exciting!!!  Think how curious you will be about everything which in turn will make you want to learn, learn, learn about the area!  It might be a little rough in the beginning but you'll make huge leaps and bounds quickly - I am sure of it!

Thanks Jeremy- my gears are already turning.

Patricia: I think the older we get, the harder 'change' is. Didn't bother me so much when I was younger.

Leesa: Thanks for the encouragement. I know you understand how I feel.
