Time to Reflect and a Moment to Catch Your Breath...

There are things that each individual will connect with for inner strength. Those awesome niche's in ones inner being that tell them that they are 'all right'. The stillness to catch my breath in ever moving time and the objects that just may give me a reason to believe.

I find those wonderous things in a crashing wave and a rustling wind about my face. I find these things in the beauty of a bloom. Take time to reflect, to catch your breath and regroup if need be......and gain that strength to just move on.

Take a moment.....................

All those blooms are mine...over the last couple of years....the "loving embrace" was from my son. :)

Love the reminder! Wish I could enjoy catching my breath in Hawaii sometime :)

I try to take time from the hustle and bustle just to be. Take time to be where I am!

Well, Sally, you are just a blogging machine! I just read one of your awesome posts and here you are with another AWESOME post! And, you're right--you do live in paradise! Gorgeous photos and I can't believe they were all yours--amazing climate you live in and you are constantly surrounded by God's beauty!

Very very nice, Sally, I've begun staring at the stars at night lying on my back - up in the Sierra Nevadas. When you see thousands of stars, it tends to put things in perspective. Great job!

I find those moments in nature for the most part as well. We all need to take a minute or two once and while to just stop and breathe.

I agree. The old saying to "take time to stop and smell the roses" is sage advice in these times. We live with constant stress, and just looking around at nature is a wonderful way to see there's more to life than the hectic pace we all keep. Sometimes, I'll be going about my day, and just happen to catch a glimpse of the sky, which causes me to stop and look at the beautiful blue color, and the soft white clouds, then the green of the trees, the colors of the flowers, etc... it's instantly soothing =)

Sometimes I wonder where I am .. I know where I AM but I wonder where "I" am... does that make any sense?

Stopping to think, ponder a little, enjoy the beauty around us helps us know who "we" are.
