October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Dress Barn locations are kicking off a campaign to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Beginning Oct. 1, all Dress Barn stores will allow customers to "adopt'' Biscuit, a stuffed plush dog, for $5.00. The profits from the sale will result in a profit of $2. All of the profits will be donated to the American Cancer Society to support local and national breast cancer initiatives. The campaign will continue through Oct. 31, while supplies last.
