Be The Best You Can Be! Develop A Set of Core Values

I had called it a day after I wrote this last night and have been out all day today.  It was such an unexpected surprise to see that this post was featured.  I appreciate all the wonderful comments.

Hannah -  I believe these are values that everyone should live by no matter what profession they're in.

Sharon - Exactly and something we should all think about.

Mirela - It's about getting back to the basics again at home and at school.  This was a subject that I learned in school but it has somehow gone by the wayside in the education of our kids today.  It's so sad it doesn't seem to be a priority any more.

Heather - They should be the standard for how we all lead our lives today.

Jeff - Put them all together and they spell LDRSHIP.

Debe - They are principles I learned early on in life and are at the foundation of how I try to conduct myself both professionally and personally.

Simon - These personal values were instilled in me both at home and in school and I have never lost sight of how important they are in all that we do.

Kevin & Monica - Good for you!  I'm going to type them out on a business card sized piece of paper to carry with me wherever I go.

Paul - I think there are many people who forget them too and don't realize they are key elements in developing good character and leadership qualities.

William - When I learned that these were the core values of the Army, it wasn't hard to see how they were so much in tune with our duties as Realtors to our clients and to one another.

Marion - What a wonderful story and something we can all learn from.  I had my share of jobs that I wasn't crazy about either but always did the best I could knowing doing any less would be a direct reflection on me.

Gary - And where each of those values are like the branches of a tree that grow stronger each and every day.

Liz - Thank you. :)  There's going to be no stopping you once you've taken Katerina's course!  I credit her with everything I know about SEO!

Linda - Please thank your sister for her service.  You must be so proud of her!  And thank you!  I know all too well the sacrifices made by our military families.

Suma - If we all made that little extra effort it would be a wonderful thing.

Christine - I totally agree with you.  It does make them all the more important in light of the uncertainty that out's there.  We need to build on the strength of these values each and every day.

Chris Ann - Thank you.  I find it appalling that something as simple as common courtesty to one another has been so lacking lately too.  I can't stand negativity and avoid people who spew it. I prefer to keep a positive outlook each day and being around those who do the same.
