Here's my Albuquerque HUD home Update for August of 2009.
The number of HUD homes available has increased dramatically (close to 65%) the last two months. Even so, there were only 19 HUD Home closings in July and August.
There were approximately 600 closed sales in the Albuquerque area. HUD homes accounted for only 3% of the total sales.
The average days on the market for HUD homes was 32 days in August.
Compare this to average days on the market for the overall Albuquerque Real Estate Market-80 days, and it's obvious that HUD homes sell quickly.
