the treo is dying..in my very hands. Palms... My husband and sons are on i-phone.

The realtors I know are on treo or blackberries.

I just read Jeff Turner on reading books in the kindle app on his iphone. I think I am convinced.

Help me active rainers....I am so scared to learn a new phone. To leave sprint for ATT

what a monopoly. I would have to say that sprint gets me reception in Palos Verdes where many phones don't work at all.  ( Agents should disclose it now if they are smart) Or the drops that I already know of right on Knob Hill in Redondo Beach. I know how to pace those calls.

I want to read I want a kindle what if I got it all in one place. what if I could get a phone that actually showed me the mls instead of this one??

What if it had email that I could find and a GPS..the treo email has eluded me. The gearshift has been replaced by electric!

I await your advise. Thank you for the years of brilliant articles. I have to unstick the 70"sstuck in the 70's popelynnephoto

I think the old tin can and string still work just fine...kind of hard in a car with poles and signs catching on the string but smoke signals are really big now a days too. Just carry a little firewood in the front of that bug and send a little sky text when you need to communicate that you may be a little late to that next showing. Are you planning to surf on your phone or not, that's one big question. And how much monthly expense do you want if you don't plan to have it growing out of your ear much or grafting to your hand as an extra apendage I guess.

Hi Lynne: In my opinion there is only one choice - the i phone!

Lynne - Obviously the IPhone is way cool.  I couldn't afford the monthly fees so I went with the Blackberry Curve 8900.  Either one would suit you fine. Both will show you the MLS and GPS.  In my opinion, the Iphone is cooler, but for me the Blackberry was cheaper.

Lynne,

It does seem you are either an iphone, blackberry, or treo/palm/windows OS person.  I personally have been on blackberry for a few years now and love it.  It really comes down to how you use your phone for the internet.  Blackberrys on the web are not the best but email rocks! Most Blackberrys will not be able to work with java/videos/complex websites.  But you can get them on Verizon which personally I think is the best.  iPhones are great but then you have to be on AT&T which is not great.  I've heard good things about the palm-pre though.

I'm waiting for a few weeks until the new Blackberry Storm 2 comes out.  It is supposed to be pretty slick and the internet should be like a mini laptop.  I know most places let you try the phone for 30 days. That might be your best bet.

Hi Lynne!

I am crazy about my iphone!  I feel like my whole computer is in my pocket when I leave the house.

Every day they are inventing new apps for it.  Apps that are free and help you find all restaurants within 5 miles of you and with one more click, how to get to it.  Zillow has a free app- anywhere you stand you click one button and see estimated prices on all the homes around you!  Another one that allows you to place your Chipotle order from your phone and skip the line when you get there.  I just paid $1.99 for an app today - my first paid one:  it scans product bar codes with the camera lens and tells you what the product is and lists several sites online that sell it, and at what prices!!

I believe that every business has to be working on an iphone app right now and it will only get more powerful.  It is priceless, as long as you can get a signal around your area- that part I don't know.

Well...I did it ...left a 13 year relationship with nextel/sprint for ATT...all for my new beloved I phone

I can't wait to get the kindle app.. I have to get a car charger...its not making it though the day with 2 videos and photos of properties..

I love it...so much and I barely even know it....I got a low glare film, and a pink case to find it in my purse

Its so wonderful...there really is not choice. the ATT family plan and the I phone GS 16

Thanks for all your advise and comments....

Just so you know, if you leave the bluetooth, the 3g network and the wifi turned on, you will blow through your battery very fast.  You have to turn those 3 things off when not in use and your battery will last a couple days.
