This is a good series you have going, Carl.  We discovered a door issue yesterday, water penetration at the bottom of an outside door where that seal thingy is attached resulting in a trip to Home Depot.

    Howdy there Carl and Ceil

Carl- you sure are writing a real fine fall checklist series, my friend. Home owners should always have a fine checklist like these handy.

Shirley it is a good idea to take a good walk around to check on these items. Water damage can certainly cause problems. I bet your husband just wanted an excuse to go to Home Depot.

Dale thanks for stopping by. There a number of items I could add to the list but want to make it as simple as possible.

We don't have any "Big Box Stores" out here. However, I have done a lot of home maintenance shopping at:

    1. Home Depot
    2. Dixieline
    3. Lowe's
    4. Wal-Mart
    5. Target

Ricki: Seems the seasons are coming and going more quickly lately. I already see Christmas decorations in the stores.

Russell: We have all but Dixieline in our area. Is that similiar to the other four your listed?
