Steve, that is awesome you researched this and shared with all of us.

Easy to research honestly, just copied from AR member points list. More importantly I'd really like to see some new home sales specialists get more involved, writing and posting here on AR. Home Builders are a little late to the blog and SEO game, whereas real estate professionals have flocked to the web, home builders are still hiding behind www.move.com and other very web 1.0 type portals.

Steve- we suppliers aren't as slow as the builders - we try to stay in front of them! Good post - thanks for trying to get us more involved and in front of the movement. LEED, follow or get out of the way - we intend to LEED! thanks for pushing us!

Steve, it's good to see the builders signing on. I owned a building company up until last year and was involved as a life director for our local, state and national (NAHB) associations. So I know quite a few builders. I have sent invitations to many to join Active Rain and some have joined, but it's been a hard sale. I feel the advantage for the builder is here on AR.

I build for Estridge, a local custom builder in Indianapolis. I just could not decide on how to categorize myself!

Very cool post. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

But, I'm wondering why I as a new home salesperson/company with over 15,000 points didn't make your list.

Amanda, you're totally right in being torn, should you be catagorized as a builder or a real estate agent? Maybe both to be honest. But for sure I'm glad to get your info so I can start adding new home sales specialists to the list. I began my career selling for Hansen and Horn in Indianapolis.

Jim, not sure, but I did pick my list up from the builder-constractor classification here on AR. I am sure I'm missing some new home sales specialists. Not sure how to find you all though.

Steve , a lot of Builders including myself , are slow to social networking . I'm also torn as my primary business is custom home building , but I also have my own RE company to market lots & lot/house packages . Maybe AR could add a couple sub-categories for those who wear many hats ! Keepin' it Green !
