Once upon a time there was a caveman named Aarg. He found a beautiful cave with a view of the swamp and wanted to live in it. He called a Realtor and chipped out an offer (in stone of course) for 6 boulders and a fresh rat. His Realtor told him that this was a short sale.....the current owner, Migg had paid too much for the cave to begin with and now owed 9 boulders to Puch for the mortgage. Aarg was concerned but agreed to wait while Migg discussed this with Puch to see if Puch would accept the 6 boulders and rat.
The sun rose and set many, many, MANY times over the swamp and surrounding cliffs. One day Aarg saw his Realtor climbing up his hill to give him the good news. Puch had spent the last few months trying to see if Aarg's offer was a good one. He asked many people in the village and studied the stone-offer many times with his neighbors. He finally decided that it was a good deal and especially loved the offer of the rat, he was rarely able to catch rat for himself.
Sadly Aarg shook his head and said that the rat had died several months ago and he could only now offer the 6 boulders. His Realtor also looked sad, and said the this would probably take Puch longer to decide. Aarg wondered if he would ever get the lovely cave with the view.
So easy a caveman can do it? I wonder!
