Did Cavemen Have The Same Problems As We Do?

Once upon a time there was a caveman named Aarg. He found a beautiful cave with a view of the swamp and wanted to live in it. He called a Realtor and chipped out an offer (in stone of course) for 6 boulders and a fresh rat. His Realtor told him that this was a short sale.....the current owner, Migg had paid too much for the cave to begin with and now owed 9 boulders to Puch for the mortgage. Aarg was concerned but agreed to wait while Migg discussed this with Puch to see if Puch would accept the 6 boulders and rat.

The sun rose and set many, many, MANY times over the swamp and surrounding cliffs. One day Aarg saw his Realtor climbing up his hill to give him the good news. Puch had spent the last few months trying to see if Aarg's offer was a good one. He asked many people in the village and studied the stone-offer many times with his neighbors. He finally decided that it was a good deal and especially loved the offer of the rat, he was rarely able to catch rat for himself.

Sadly Aarg shook his head and said that the rat had died several months ago and he could only now offer the 6 boulders. His Realtor also looked sad, and said the this would probably take Puch longer to decide. Aarg wondered if he would ever get the lovely cave with the view.

So easy a caveman can do it? I wonder!

Judy the birthday gal LOVED this fun run - she wants to play - so I'll get her going!

Sheldon - seriously committed to making the perfect pie - ok you're on!

C - you so rock - I could hug you right now!  And -  I got your rant today- just didn't get time to respond but I tomorrow is another day. What is up with folks?  They must have screw or 10 loose or missing entirely.

Cynthia - 50 lb bags?  Are you serious.  What did you do with all that flour.  I use maybe 5 lbs a year.

LMAO...................................Thanks!  What a great stress relieving post.

The house next door to me has been empty and in pre-foreclosure for nearly 3 years.  They must have a great lawyer as the bank has been stalled for quite sometime and nothing seems to be happening fast...

.......except, my 4 cats are getting quite fat catching all of the "rats" that seem to be populating and relocating to the suburbs (my house) in search of a better "deal".

Perhaps Aarg would like to put in an offer, I won't even ask for a referral fee!Rats

Thanks for the "love" on the graphics.  I must confess, I "borrowed" it from google image search, but not for monetary gain....hehe!  What are Puchs and should I be worried?

A fixer cave....excellent idea. I believe a smaller cave with a skylight is about to foreclose nearby...but the "skylight" might not pass FHA standards during rainy season....I'm having my inspector check it out right now.

Oh Puch....I mean Poo!  I didn't go back and re-read your original post, sorry!  You better have your inspector check for handicapped accessible and since it is older than dirt, have a lead based paint disclosure available.
