Hey Everyone! Just wanted to drop a quick note about Myrtle Beach's soon to be Hard Rock Theme Park. I took the free backstage tour the other day with some fellow Realtors and had a blast! The park is now under construction with a May 2008 projected opening date. You can even buy commenerative tickets now for $49-46.
The Hard Rock Theme Park is going to be a 140 acre park with music, more than 40 attractions, a multi-purpose live music amphitheater, shows, 4-5 roller coasters, children's water play areas, restaurants, cafes and retail stores. It is going to be awesome! Just taking the tour through their building was fun. It only takes about 15-20 minutes to see everything currently on display but you'll want to hang out longer especially since it's free and air conditioned...
They have some great costumes on display, there's lots of models and renderings of how the park will look, etc. It's really going to be a great addition to Myrtle Beach! I'm attaching a few photos below but check out there websites as well...
