We have finished a number of exciting changes to our real estate video functionality.  We'll be taking the wraps off of portions of the front end and back end functionality as early as this week or next week on our site.  Certain other individual focused functionality changes will be initially made available only to a small set of end user beta testers that we will be working with. There is also a set of corporate focused functionality changes that will be rolled out to a group of corporate customers.  Note that few of the corporate focused functionality changes will appear on our site(s) at all. We'll point you to them though as we get to a public preview point in the beta.

There really is a lot of feedback that we need in all cases and I need to correctly set expectations that some of the changes will be publically available soon....others not so soon. But the important thing is that everything is coded...it's time to get it out there.

Without divulging too much, many of the changes are focused on abstracting away the challenges that users have voiced with respect to working with different languages and the giant sized real estate video that we push over at http://vidlisting.com/. Other changes make the implementation, management, and distribution of real estate video on a mass scale far easier and faster whether we film or you've arranged to produce your own real estate video. Lots of ways to read into that but the implementation may not be what some of you might be thinking....

I've just finished looking at some of the technology and, though some of it will certainly be familiar, there is some portion that seems *way* different than anything else that we have seen on the web to date. We think that the changes will make production of property videos in international ready formats a breeze along with coupling production with distribution to US/international audiences will have never been easier as a result.   Of course, if nothing else, this means that we'll have the "beta" sign once again on portions of our video sites.

We have been saying for some time that there is a lot more to success with real estate video than just a flash video player. Stay tuned...
