The Village of Red Hook NY had their Hardscrabble day and today was also the the street painting day in Tivoli. NY This event too was well attended and many participated in the activity as you will see from some of the drawings below.

Hi Jennifer. Did you participate by drawing too? Will the drawings last long?
Diane I think I almost got kick out of art class, so I did not. Everyone did a great job.
Unfortunately I think it will rain tomorrow therefore it will be all gone. We all took lots of pictures and I will be posting additional ones.

Jennifer, I have not heard of this, but what a great way to bring folks downtown to the local merchants.

Jennifer, That looks like so much fun, for the artists and people attending! We had an "Art in the Park" but I think the artists would have loved to paint in the street!

Bill - Not just the little kid but anyone who was a kid at heart had fun.
Missy - Not only is it a good way to get people down to the business district it is also a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors.

Kim I decided taking photos of all the wonderful masterpieces was more my speed.

Hi Jennifer...I'm constantly amazed at how many people are so creative. It's great they have a way to express their talents and to share it with others.

Jennifer they have not done anything like that around here, but I wish they would because it would be nice to go see.
