Speechless Sunday - My Wife Planted It!

We don't know what it is, but my wife planted this vine early this summer. It has taken over and is beautiful with it's purple flowers and seed pods.

Hi. I wonder what it is. I hope someone comments and provides the answer! Where did you get it? Just be thankful it's not Chinese Lantern...at first love the way it looks and then you discover it has taken over and cannot be eradicated.

Hi Bob, That is a really cool vine - whatever it is! By the way, my husband's Aunt and Uncle live in Owasso - I really liked it there when we visited.

Looks pretty!!! I am so looking forward to the weather cooling down here in Phoenix so we can bring on the flowers. We don't do much in the summer - but the next 10 months should be gorgeous!
