Not Doing Real Estate Video Is Teasing The Buyer, Playing With Him, With Holding Information.

Andrew dose a great job here and drives home a point.

He found a home that he likes - not his listing, but a home he obviously has some passion about.  He sets up and shoots a very basic video that looks like it had minimal editing before he launched it.

The point of his blog is not to sell the home featured but to show us, as agents how to separate ourselves from our competition - with very little money - just a camera and a little bit of time.

Time really is the focus of the blog - saving the prospects time - show them what the heck is going on.

Hats off to Andrew for this fine job...

A buyer who is hustling with two jobs, saving his money, wanting to invest in a home, land, business, farm or waterfront...has limited free time. Don't waste it.

So when he goes on line, and liked the lead in caption on your property, don't leave him hanging. You've been inside..toured the place, why keep it a secret? Shoot the video, edit it and get him inside right now too! Grab him by the cyber hand, take him to the property with video now...right now. He is available, this does not happen much and he is ready to buy. If you have a few fuzzy images, a write up you the listing agent did not do, that the office lady tried her hand at without seeing it first hand...your buyer goes away hungry, unfulfilled. The experience...it was not good for him but typical as you look around at all the agents that still don't shoot and post real live narrated video.

Video shows him inside, outside, educates him on the area with audio from your voice, in your easy conversational tone...your inside voice you use during showings, not your cheer for the little league team outdoor voice. You don't read to him, in stilted fashion with "pristine this, fabulous that, incredible blah blah blah..."

The buyer gets to meet you, hear you, see you...and you put him at the head of the line, got him squared away with a video that gets used over and over. In fact if the copy lady that writes these one size fits all ad copies saw each of these videos, she would do a lot better job. She's been there, seen that, knows the place because she has walked around the inside virtually, with you cyber broker. Video..it hits all five senses and the actual real life walk thru is only a formality for the buyers. He's already seen it a dozen times, sent it to his uncle Bob out of state who is throwing in $10,000 to help the lad buy the place. www.mooersrealty.com
